Gym Life

I recently started going to the gym.. and I love it. I go almost every day of the week and I have been feeling great, I feel more healthy, energetic and very confident. Some people would say I'm "cocky" but those people don't realise how it feels to do something so productive with your life. The ammount of confidence I have gained in such a small period of time is unreal, I honnestly wish I started working out a long time ago. Its so much easier to get up in the morning and It has affected just about everything that I do on a daily basis. Now that I have set a goal for myself i feel like I can do anything. I bought this powder for GNC called Super Pump 250, I got the grape flavor.. and it gives me extra energy, builds lean muscle and helps burn fat so before you know it I might look like Lorenzo... lol jk. GTL 4 Life.

The Catcher in the Rye, Chapter 2

In this chapter, Holden expresses opinions that critics believe are typical for teenagers. In the following excerpt from the chapter, Holden states that people see him as immature when he is often mature.

"Sometimes I at a lot older than I am-I really do-but people never notice it. People never notice anything."

Where do you feel that you fit on the scale of mature versus immature behavior?

The way I see it I can be very mature for my age but when i am mixed up with certain personalities I can be pretty immature, but I don’t see the harm in being a little childish once in a while. Compared to some people that I have met in my life time, I almost look like a saint, when I try to be. I recognize that there is a time for everything and sometimes you might have to grow up a bit, like school for example how do you expect to succeed if you're constantly making noises or just being a goof? So i do my best to set a good example in the class room but sometimes I just can’t help but be immature.

Toronto maple leafs...

I am very disappointed... When the hockey season first started I was really impressed with the Maple Leafs they were passing well, scoring and playing pretty good defence. But after they had they're moment in the spotlight they began to drop in the rankings every week. They were ranked first overall in the entire league at the beginning of the season and are currently in 27th now with a record of 5-8-2. They have only scored 35 goals and have let in a total of 45 goals against. Perhaps this is because they are slacking in both their penalty kill (74.55%) and power play (11.76%) line ups. The two biggest disappointments to me were Phil Kessel (16 Gp - 8 G - 2 A) and Dion Phaneuf (11 Gp - 0 G - 4 A) these two players were supposed to turn the leafs season around not win 5 games then go bake some cookies with their grandmas? Well hopefully they bounce back but if not GO LIGHTNING!

Hey Ryan, Mr. David has been keeping us posted on your situation; I hope you're feeling alright. I know you’ll do fine though, I always see you walking around the halls and you always seem so happy, nothing ever puts you down no matter the circumstances. You just roam the halls as if you own them, and that’s something I have always admired about you. I really hope you get well soon buddy, I hope the magazines and the card we sent you brightens up your day. Just keep in mind that once you're back at school you can go back to being the same old Ryan St-Martin that we all know. So I hope you get well soon so you can come back to Garnier and I hope this blog helps you out man! Stay strong. Oh and I posted a couple or my favorite cars let me know what you think about them! The Cather in the Rye, Chapter 1

I chose the second question for the first chapter which was to assume you were a member of the fencing team that Holden manages, and write a letter to the narrator telling him how you feel about his irresponsible mistake.

Dear Holden, I must say that I am not very impressed with your managing skills. A manager needs to be ready for any event and has to be extremely organised. How do you expect the team to succeed if you can’t even remember to bring our equipment? Perhaps you could spend some time organizing our matches so this sort of situation does not re-occur. It would really be greatly appreciated.

Grind my gears Ep.3

You know what really grinds my gears? Golf! Golf is the absolute worst sport in the entire world; it takes forever, its boring and most of all very frustrating. Not too long ago i went golfing with a few friends of mine with my dads clubs. Within 5 minutes I had enough, i took my time took a practice swing, was feeling pretty good but when i went to hit the ball i completely missed the ball. Not too long after i decided it was about time i tried having some fun. Have you seen the movie Happy Gilmore? well they should probably add one of those do not try at home messages. I ended up snapping the head off of my dads driver, luckily his friend had an extra or that would be a few hundred dollars out of my pocket. Funny thing is we didn't even finish the game, we left after the ninth hole! So I'm just going to stick with soccer.

Jersey shore S.2 Ep.10

So i have noticed i haven't updated my blog in a very long time.. that can not be good for my grade so I'm gonna spend a little time updating you on the latest jersey shore episodes! One of the reasons I haven't blogged on Jersey shore is because it has not been worthy to be posted on my blog, nothing interesting has been going on at the shore! The season is approaching the end and this is how things are going. Angelina has been hooking up with several guys, making her boy toy Jose seam like a goof, personally i think that is the biggest turn off in a girl, not classy at all. The situation is heating up between Mike and Angelina, as Angelina left one of her used lady products laying in the bathroom for mike to clean up, this did not go over very well with him. On the up side The Situation has met a new girl and she happens to be Canadian! And I'm not gonna dance around the subject, she is gorgeous. Too bad he lost her in the club. Grind my gears Ep.3

You know what really grinds my gears? When people tickle me, I swear if it is possible to be allergic to being tickled I am. I would rather be tortured with sharp objects and weird contraptions then to be tickled for over a minute. If somebody is brave enough to pin me down and tickle me, I will honestly do anything in my power to get out whether is kicking, yelling, biting, punching or I may use my tickle reversal and start tickling the other person depending on if they're actually ticklish. It doesn't matter who it is it could be my best friend, brother even my grandma, yes i would punch my grand-mother in the chest if necessary. Just don't go there unless you're looking for a beating!

Soccer season almost over!

There is only one more month before the end of my soccer season.. this makes me very depressed. If you haven't heard, yours truly Scott McIntosh has made the school soccer team! Our team is currently 2-1-0, I think we have a talented group of guys and I'm planning on coming first overall. Not only am i on the soccer team but I am on a select team called the Oshawa all-stars, and yes we are all stars.. especially me. Our season went pretty well with 2 tournament wins. Right now I'm getting ready for my game at school against Pereyma, who is said to be the best team in the league, other than Garnier of course!

Grind my gears Ep.2

You know what really grinds my gears? People who bail on plans last minute. This is for sure the biggest pet peeve I have, I hate getting all excited to go to the movies or going out with friends for the night and maybe an hour before were supposed to meet up... They cancel. It is the most annoying thing in the world worse than slow drivers, people who cough on you or even people who wear clothes way too small for them. This past weekend I made plans with my good friend Julian to go out on Saturday night and when he got here he actually asked me what we were doing that night after he specifically told me that he found a social gathering... This is pretty much as bad since we ended up doing nothing that night! So people, if you’re going to make plans with someone the least you can do is show up. Thank you

You know what grinds my gears?

I know I said I would be posting a play of the week but my friends Marc Thomas www.marcthomas.ca and Ryan Dopson http://www.everythingbutfashiontv.blogspot.com/ gave me a great idea, as an alternative I have chosen to write a " grinds my gears segment" where I will be discussing a pet peeve of mine. I will be posting at least 1 segment per week.
You know what really grinds my gears? Finding a shoe, but not finding its mate next to it... I don’t know how many times I have searched my entire house for a lonesome shoe. Usually my dog Willow is responsible but I tend to blame either my brother or my dad. Stay tuned peace! OH and I just bought NHL 11 for myXbox 360 :)

Jersey Shore S.2 Ep.7

On this weeks episode of Jersey Shore Aka The best show EVER, Vinny's family came over for dinner and all of the room mates joined in on the fun for some laughs and a massive 3 course dinner. Tension started to heat up after Angelina hit Snooki in the face with a volley ball. The fam went for a night out to the clubs, Vinny and Pauly both met these girls that stole their hearts. The next day they had the idea to set up a double date with the two women. They got their hair cut, new clothes and a bouquet of flowers for both of the dates. Unfortunately for Vinny his date decided to bail... he was devastated but Pauly still managed to have a wonderful night with his potential girl friend. The drama doesn’t stop at the shore just yet! Angelina has been hooking up every night even though she is seeing a guy name Jose, I find that to be very disrespectful since he’s buying her gifts and treating her like a princess and she repays him by sneaking around behind his back :(



                          

Welcome to the real world..

Growing up is a big part of life, it has its advantages and disadvantages. One of the biggest changes will be going to school, that is where majority of children will experience most challenges. So I would suggest trying to make a good first impression and making as many friends as possible because in the long run once you hit high school you will appreciate having good friends and popularity. When you are in class however, do not spend too much time socializing and try to create a habit of listening in class and doing your work, trust me I am not a very good example of that. When I was younger all I did was try to make people laugh but when it came time to work... well, I didn’t get much done. Today I look back on the past and wish I was a better student when I was a kid because I gathered some pretty bad habits. My advice for when you're at home is to respect your parents and to do what is asked of you with out arguing, and always eat your vegetables.

And I will be giving a recap of the events on the last episode of the hit show Jersey shore, which is a reality show of 8 Guido’s or Italians, who are spending their summer in Miami Florida. They are often getting themselves into trouble within their room mates and sometimes the law. I believe it is the most amazing TV show on the air at the moment and I will be following it weekly and updating my readers on the past episodes.
